Stella MacDougall is an artist living and working in Hertfordshire, UK. She graduated from Edinburgh College of Art with a First Class, BA Honours in Art (Painting) and was awarded the Andrew Grant Travel and Equipment Bursary for her final year body of work.

Stella’s work spans painting, printmaking, drawing and animation and considers the contemporary interspecies relationship between humans and animals. The work explores established hierarchies, sentimentality, tension, narratives of trust and control, watching and being watched in return.
